4th of July at Bethany Beach is a down-home, patriotic and fun day. In reverse order, here is how our day was spent:
We ended a very busy day sitting on the beach close to the area the fireworks were set off. We practically bent our heads back and looked up to watch the spectacular display! Best of all, the Haarhoff Mom and Girls were with us to share the excitement of the day.......
Jim used his tripod to shoot the fireworks.
The Westwood picnic was held in the afternoon after the parade, featuring pot luck picnic food and grilled burgers and hot dogs.
The day was perfect for a picnic held in the shade.
The gentleman brings his vintage carousel organ all the way from PA every year.
We are very proud of our DE National Guard, located in our beach town.
