The Museum of the City of New York had a great photo exhibit of the Twin Towers

Athletes

What a weekend!  In just 2 days we watched 2 soccer games and a field hockey game.  The weather has turned cool....perfect for spectator sports....and our athletes were fun to watch.

Eva has great command of the ball, even between lots of raindrops......

Keelyn in blue......

...watch what she is doing with the ball!

Here comes Ella!

She knows where she is going.

Keelyn is working hard.

New gutters

The repairs continue from the fallen tree on our building.  Today we had new gutters installed, and you can see from the shirtless guys, that the weather still thinks it is summer!

to us!

Forty- five years and still loving each other forever.  Loving our life here at the beach and thankful for every minute!

Our Varsity cheerleader

We attended our first Kent Island HS Buccaneer football game last night.  Kylie is one of the Varsity cheerleaders cheering them on.  She is great!  Back flips and all!
At each TD the cheerleaders give that many push ups, according to the score.  We left after the half time show....score: Bucs 48-7....that's a lotta push ups!!!

Go, Bucs, Go!!!!!

Laundry center

Our new washer and dryer overflows our laundry closet, so the closet doors
have been removed.  Now it is looking like I have a very serious laundry center, but no, I am not taking in the neighbors' wash!  We are trying to get a wash together to try the new features, hoping it saves some $ when the electric bill comes.

snazzy, huh?

Good bye, Summer 2011

In our little beach town of Bethany Beach, summer is a BIG deal!  So the good bye to summer on Labor Day is really big!  A New Orleans style jazz parade is held complete with band as the "dead" summer is carried along the boardwalk in a coffin.  As you can see, many people attend wearing black T-shirts that profess, "We put the fun in funeral!"

...until the summer of 2012.......

Following the parade, a celebratory life guard swim takes place.
Ready, set, go!

In years past, there were no undies under the bathing trunks they took off!
