Go figure.......

Do you see the exclamation point these strawberries are shaping?  We have a new crop that seems to enjoy living in our front garden where the sun shines hotly on them most of the day.  They are as plentiful and sweet as any we picked this spring!

Finding a sunset........

We traveled to Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge this week (twice) seeking a good sunset.  Our spot was on Fleetwood Pond, a beautiful, peaceful place.  Though the sunset was not extraordinary, we did meet 2 lady kayakers who reported sighting a busy beaver and swallows diving for fish.

Lovely evening.

Photo exhibit

Jim has four of his photos displayed at this three month long exhibit at Cadbury, a beautiful senior citizens' residence.

Cadbury always provides a lovely reception for us.

Beach bonfire

Last evening our church hosted our international students at a hot dog/s'mores roast on the Fenwick beach where bonfires are allowed for a very stiff fee.

The international students come from such countries as Romania and China and work at many places in the beach area for the summer, earning money to finance their college education back home.  It is fun talking to them about their American experiences, their plans, and about their countries.  It is amazing to me how many languages these young people speak.
