Camp began today for our junior lifeguards Layne and Eva, and though the temps were in the 90s, they worked hard on their first day. In their favor, the ocean was like a sheet of glass....no waves and lots of calm.They have homework: to learn and show their name (Eva) and a 5 word sentence (Layne) in the semaphore alphabet. They are anxious for tomorrow and more challenges.
