On our way to Orlando we stopped for a day in Savannah.  Seventy degree temps made our walking tour enjoyable.

Birthday boy on the beach

Jim celebrated his birthday today on our newly replenished beach.  Temps today in the 60s.

Birthday bash

We celebrate a bunch of February birthdays, so today we gathered to honor Lisbeth, Ann Marie, Ella and Jim with food and favorite desserts. Here are Jack, Ella and Will in their "bunker".  It's all about the balloons with Jack and Will.

Good morning, NYC!

NYC dawned with beautiful sunshine today.  Yesterday was cold and rainy when we drove in to see a preview of Spiderman on Broadway....AWESOME!

Great steak dinner at Gallagher's, and enjoyed staying at the Hotel Edison, a circa 1930s hotel right in the middle of the theatre district.  Great weekend.

Looking for great horned owls.......

......and found some ponies at Assateague instead.  It was so cold and quiet today as we (members of Jim's camera club) waited for the owls to come out to hunt this afternoon.  They must have sensed our presence as we never heard a hoot.  Photographers must exhibit great amounts of patience!
