The Coastal Camera Club's latest outing was last evening in Rehoboth for the purpose of taking night shots of street traffic and store lights. It was a cool, breezy evening and all around were photographers and tripods.
Nicola's Pizza has long been a favorite of ours. Their Nicoboli is a yummy calzone.
Capriotti's is the best big sandwich shop.
Ask any of the grands what they like about Candy Kitchen....they all have their favorites.
Thanks to a generous gift card given to us in thanks for some help Jim gave them on their renovation, we had a lovely dinner in front of a beautiful sunset at Bluecoast restaurant tonight. We ate from the list of specials: sea bass for Dad and filet mignon for me. My fresh beet and butternut squash salad was so good. Dad enjoyed his crab corn chowder. No room for dessert.
Jim spent a day in Cape May with photographer Tony Sweet learning photo tips in fine art photography. The day was cold and clear and what follows are some of Jim's photo art:
Our women's club Valentine's Tea is this week and it is a fancy affair showing off our finest china, tea pots and goodies. This year I made CHOCOLATE CHERRY KISSES:
...thinking that cherries and chocolate make a good combo.
Oh, those grands keep us wondrously busy! This past weekend we watched Keelyn play indoor field hockey in a four game tournament (and then she went to a bowling party last evening!). Mostly, we spent our time painting and redoing Ella's bedroom for her 9th birthday. She loves the purply room that has evolved. BTW, she picked out all the colors and accessories...what great color sense she has!
